Today I spent some time documenting Mission BBQ's recognition of Veterans Day. All veterans were able to receive a free sandwich and slice of cake as a gesture of their appreciation for their service. They had an awesome turnout for the live performance of the national anthem at noon, and plenty of veterans are continuing to visit throughout the day. Mission BBQ takes pride in serving those who serve, and I'm very thankful they are a part of my hometown community!
